In order to create additional space, the wheelbase was lengthened by 70 cm and the rear was extended by 30 cm, bringing the total length to 8.4 metres. The interior is furnished with 16 half-leather seats and two hardwood tables with seats in vis-à-vis arrangement. For the ultimate VIP experience the bus is fitted with panoramic windows, USB jacks, a refrigerator, a multimedia system and two TV screens.
Kupers was founded in 1931, at which time the company provided workers with transport to and from the various factories in Limburg and North Brabant. In 1945, after the war, the company was restarted. Later, throughout the sixties and seventies Kupers shifted its focus to day trips and overnight coach holidays throughout Europe. The collaboration with De Jong Intra Vakanties dates back to 1978, and since 2013 Kupers has held a 50% stake in the company. In recent decades the cooperation with various national operators has grown continuously, and the company took over Litax Reizen in 2015 and De Kruyff Touringcars in 2017. The company's fleet includes 57 coaches, 27 of which are already driven by modern Euro VI engines. Kupers Touringcars has around 140 employees. Kupers also operates a chain of travel agencies, the first of which was opened in 1988. Today there are 20 locations throughout Limburg.
